PUNTA ARENAS / PUERTO WILLIAMS
Fly on board Aerolineas DAP to the beautiful city of Puerto Williams. From the sky you will enjoy a overwhelming landscape which leads you to discover the Magellan Strait, the beautiful Darwin Mountain Range glaciers, channels and colourful lakes (flight time, 1:20 hrs).
Meet our staff at the airport who will company you to LAKUTAIA LODGE. Enjoy cocktail aound lunch served at the Lodge.
In the afternoon enjoy the visit to OMORA Etno-Botanical Park. This excursion will lead us to discover the wonders of the Miniature Forests of Cape Horn a so-called “Tourism with Hand Lens” an educational activity sponsored by Omora Foundation. A bio-cultural conservation initiative from the local communities living in the Antartic forests, as well as the active commitment of the Yagan community living in Puerto Williams.

TREKKING (4-hour walk)
Journey from the lodge to the trek starting point. On your first day reach the end of Robalo village to El Salto Lagoon.
There are 2 possible tracks depending on weather conditions:
1) High end slope of the Robalo valley
Start from the high end slope of the Robalo valley (100 mt high), 1.30 hrs. climbing to Bandera hill (590 mts). Enjoy a wonderful panoramic view of Puerto Williams and Beagle Channel. Continue track through Robalo valley for 2 more hours. By the end, a hard descent of half an hour will allow you to reach the Salto Lagoon (490 mts).
2) POR EL FONDO DEL VALLE RÓBALO.
2) Climbing from the back of Robalo valley walking through beautiful woods. Progressive approach to Dientes de Navarino. Enjoy the view of lagoons, lakes and beaver dams. Campsite at the shore of Salto Lagoon.
TREKKING (5:30-hour walk)
2-hour walk and 3 consecutive climbs (716, 800 y 765 mts) allowing you to cross Dientes de Navarino cord throught the southern slope. Enjoy the view of Nassau Bay and Wollaston islands both belonging to the Cape Horn. After bordering several lakes, climb to Ventarron path (696 mts), which has an impressive view of the southern slope of Dientes de Navarino and Codrington mounts. Soft decent to Guerrico path to reach Martillo lagoon where the sencond campsite will be settled. Rocky track along the day.
TREKKING (6-hour walk)
From Martillo lagoon the view will open views to Guerrico valley. From here you will continue walking for 3 more hours. At this valley you will enjoy a less rocky terrain with some views to Lindemayer mount woods. Climb Virginia pass (860 mts high: 440 mts slope in 1.30 hours). The magnificent view includes mountain and sea from Tierra del Fuego. 1.30-hour descent to reach a campsite inserted in the forest.
TREKKING (4:30-hour walk)
Start the day descending the forest to the sea (460 mts slope in 3 hrs). 8 kms to reach the lodge throught gravel road. A nice cocktail and lunch will be waiting for you at the Lodge. Rest of the day to rest, walk around the village, share the experince with others regarding your trekking adventure at the southernmost track in the world.

After breakfast enjoy the Lodge’s facilities before departing to Punta Arenas or Ushuaia.
